Greetings, I picked up a M&P 9mm full size with night sights.
My slide is not marked stainless steel, although I've seen other M&Ps that have slides marked stainless.
Did they make variations with and without?

They are all stainless. They stopped marking them in the last couple years.

Cheaper to not mark them stainless. The slides are through hardened stainless steel that have been Melonited.

Don't consider it, DO IT. It makes a world of difference. It makes the M&P as it should be from the factory, if it weren't for the damn lawyers.
