| I already have the Apex tactical competition AEK and aluminum trigger in my M&P. I decided I would like to try the forward set sear but its only offered in a kit on their website with several parts I already have. Anyone know if they will sell the sear only? Would this even work? I assume all the parts are the same other than the sear. |
| Looks like I'll have too. I just read in their product description that the AEK trigger is not compatable with the FSS. That explains why you can't buy the sear alone. It just sucks because I've only put a dozen or so rounds through the pistol and now I will have to sell parts to get what I want. Oh well. |

Yeah, the springs and sear in the DCAEK won't work with the forward set sear trigger. Because of the way the trigger is designed to operate, the timing is different. Even the USB is different. The FSS is nice.
I would hold onto the DCAEK and AEK trigger. You may decided you don't like the FSS kit (slim chance) and wish to reinstall the other parts. I have the FSS in my M&P9 and the AEK in my M&Pc. I like them both. |

The USB for the FSS kit has a flatter surface compared to the domed surface of the standard USB. |
