Hello everybody.  I am new to the board, stopped by and saw some good conversations going on.

Had a few questions if any of you might help.

When shooting my shield, I am getting tight groups as I do with other handguns (I have only shot my shield once to date as it is new), but my groups are high and left.

I am certain that this is operator error, but I do not know how to fix it.

Just as a point of reference, I also shoot a Beretta Px4 Storm and a Taurus PT109 with the same tight grouping but where I aim.

I do not shoot a lot, but carry because of my job and I like the shield as my pocket carry.

Any ideas on what in the world I am doing?  Once I noticed this, I really was trying different stances, calm breathing, slow trigger pull, as I would if I were trying to get a bulls eye shot with my other handguns at 20 yard range.

At 7 Yards, on the target dummy, I would aim below right ear (dummy's left ear but right as I was facing) near shoulder and get perfect tight group right in the mouth area.

At 10 yards I would aim at right elbow (dummys left elbow but right as I was facing) and get a tight grouping right in the center of chest.

I couldnt hit the damn thing with certainty at 20 yards which is embarrassing and rare for me even though I don't shoot all that often.

Any help would be appreciated!

Also, what altercations do you all recommend for a shield?

Mine is the .40 Caliber variety and I was shooting with the 7 shot mag as that is how I carry it.

Welcome!
Hard to help with out seeing you shoot, but it's prob a combo of grip and trigger control.
No don't turn into a 13'er tard

If memory serves me, the shooting clock would represent high and to the left as too little of your finger on the trigger. Thus as you squeeze the trigger with the tip of your finger it moved the muzzle slightly to the left. As you move the yard line out further the position of the grouping will get worse. You can google the image. Is your natural point of aim correct?
