Forgive my ignorance...but is a trigger that breaks juuuuust prior to the trigger stop desirable or prone to damage.

I'd like a little play in the distance between trigger breaking and the stop.  I wouldn't want one right on top of the other.  I'd be more concerned with reliability rather than damage though.

I put the apex trigger in my m&p and i set mine to break with  gap between the stop which is how it should be not a huge gap tho. just so if there is mud on the pistol or something that it doesn't have to go all the way back to the stop to fire. Im almost positive that its suppose to be that way anyway. it won't cause damage tho having it break before the stop.
