I am in Vegas and decide to stop by the Bass Pro shop as there are none in my AO.  I saw some Promag Mp9 mags for $25 there.   Took a detailed look at them and they don't look too bad. the finish was nice, base plates were a different design.  i have owned Pro mag stuff before, but its a hit and miss with their products.   I would have bought one to test, but carry one with one would have been difficult.

Don't have smith ones, but the ones I have for my p6 are not even range mags. Just cause of my own experience, I would need 100's of failure free shooting to be considered. Then it still wouldn't be a go to mag for carry.

This has been discussed in length in the recent M&P mag threads.
