I just cheated on my Glocks and traded for a M&P 9 full size. The guy I traded with gave me a APEX RAM to go with it and I decided to install it. I really don't notice much of a difference at all.

Did you watch the install video to make sure you installed it correctly?

Yes, I even removed it to recheck my work. There really isn't much to it, and the trigger seems to be working fine, but I didn't get the noticeable reset the guy in the video did.

Are there any other modifications to the M&P?

Not that I am aware of, the original owner told me it was all factory besides some stippling.

Ok, I shot my  gun today and everything is working great. I also tried it right beside my dads bone stock M&P full size and the reset is in fact more pronounced. So the RAM is working correctly, and damn do I shoot good with this pistol. Which sucks...it makes me want to sell my beloved g19 and all my glock gear to get a M&P compact.

I installed the RAM in my M&P9c and it done nothing to the reset. I even had two other M&P owners check it and they have no idea what is wrong everything looks correct. I guess it doesn't work in all pistols.

OP,  I switched from a G19 to an M&P.

During a USPSA match, and having a "Weapon Malfunction" where I didn't allow the trigger to reset, I installed the RAM. It made a definite difference. for me.  I love the gun.

Good luck with yours.

Like I said, it did make a difference in comparison to a stock M&P. I just didn't notice it until I tried another one, side by side.

I shoot this M&P really well...I may end up getting a compact to carry.

My first was the M&P Pro9 for competing.  I shoot it so much better than my Glock that I bought the M&P9 to carry.

I just got my Milt Sparks Versa Max II holster for it yesterday

If I could get out from under my glock without losing my ass I might. But I'd lose money on the gun, and all the holsters I have.

I have an M&P 9 Pro and like the gun but couldn't find the reset so well in IDPA shoots. I installed a RAM this last weekend and notice a significant difference. I LOVE shooting it now and shoot it even better. I just wish they made one for the M&P 45.

Quit worrying about reset, and its not an issue. Reset is snake oil, nothing more.

The RAM did wonders for my M&P40 (mid-size). However, with my M&P40c, the reset is more pronounced than the mid-size was when it was bone stock. I bought the c model a year and a half later than the mid-size though and maybe that has something to do with that. The stock trigger on the c model has no grittyness to it at all so I've left it stock. The mid-size however needed the Apex competition sear to mitigate its heavy trigger pull, an Apex USB to get the grittyness out of the trigger pull, and the RAM to give it twice the reset, and some trigger bar work so the trigger will break earlier in the pull. Now the mid-size has the best trigger available in a polymer pistol in my opinion, and everyone else who shoots it says the same thing.
