Any user reviews on this. I'm trying to track one and want to know if it is worth it.

I have a 625JM and a 625PC. I like both of them. Both have 4” barrels. On the used market, 625s are available with 4” and 5” barrels. They are all good. I typically shoot .45 AR just to avoid moon clips, but you can load the .45 ACP loose and it works fine. You may need a longer firing pin because at some point S&W decided to lengthen the chambers.

I nearly bought one but got a 325 Thunder Ranch instead. The JMs are really nice!
If you get one, call Ranch Products and order 100 moon clips for $35 delivered. It's the cost of one pistol magazine and makes life with a .45 ACP revolver much easier. Also, get a good tool for setting the rounds in the clips (I have a really cool, custom-made unit) and a Brownells de-mooning tool that looks like a screwdriver and you'll be set to really enjoy that bad boy!

Solid revolvers. The grips are a love 'em or hate 'em proposition. I'm a hater.

I put smooth, round, Ahrends stocks in silver and black Dymondwood on mine. I can feel the recoil more than with the rubber Hogues but I prefer the feel and look of the Ahrends.
