Sorry gents this may sound like a stupid question but my friend asked me and I know nothing about it, does anyone know anything about a 6906, My friend came across one in his recently passed away father dresser. Looks clean, unfired even. Is it worth anything? they could really use the cash to help out with expenses but not sure of the value. Plus he's wrestling with keeping it as it was his fathers.

Good solid little guns.  Accurate and reliable.  Ballpark guess is about $300-$400 retail value

I'd buy it to keep. They're very good solid guns that are super reliable.

I've never fired it, like I said it seems brand new although I can't be sure. I'm not really interested in keeping it. Just not my style I'm interested in a Sig 226 or a Garand if I can use it towards any of those I'd be happy. Thanks for all the input as always this forum ROCKS!
