How much $$ do you think I can get for my very lightly used one, if sold to a gunshop?

I've seen new ones for as low as $289.00.  I think they'd offer $75.00.



ETA;  I'm interested in picking up an M&P 40 compact.

You are probably right. They would give you $75 or less.  I would personal just keep it, than practically give it away. JMHO.

Trade in on average around here is $75 to $100. Sell it outright to someone or just keep it. Regardless of what people say they are good guns. If it is a shooting issue, shoot more. The trigger makes people think they are bad guns but in reality they are much better. I had mine for 12 years before giving it to my dad. If I didn't trust it I wouldn't have given it to him.
