You know you can have your factory barrel threaded, right?  I guess is depends on what you're going to mount but I've got a suppressor on my M9 and it works fine.

Yeah, most places charge close to 150 bucks by the time you get the barrel threaded, extension, and thread protector.  Seems alot of people don't like bar-sto now though, may be rethinking this decision.  Was hoping to get a more accurate barrel and threading in one shot, not that the factory barrel isn't more accurate than I am.

Tornado Technologies charges $75 to thread your barrel. This is the route I would go.
Thread protectors are a waste of $$ and aren't necessary IMO. YMMV
