Hello my name is Kyle and I got a m9 and I am interested in getting a 22lr conversion for this gun.  I have been look at the Ceiner kits because they are in my price range.  I guess I am just looking for some input on these kits.
Thanks

hello Kyle,
I have a factory 22lr conversion kit that is great for about 25-35 yrds. I decided to go with the factory kit from zanders sporting goods. I read a few threads and reports from differt sights on the internet and came to the conclusion that not only was the factory kit better the value of the kit went up. The factory kit came complete with adj. sights and 10 rnd mag with loader and case. I don't belive that the cincer kit has adj sights making target shooting somewhat a chance game. I would highly recamend the factory kit over the cincer kit anyday. Price is an extra 100.00

I just picked up a ciener kit, but haven't had the chance to shoot it yet.  I've heard really good things about the ciener, but I'm sure the factory kit is nice too.  I found mine for a steal with 2 mags for $120.  I don't know if I would have paid full price for the kit if I hadn't got it for such a good deal.

I've got a Ciener kit for my Beretta.  I have had few problems with it - just three failures caused by me limp wristing the gun.  Figure on about a 500 round break in to get the conversion kit running right.  My Ciener 1911 kit took about 500 rounds as well to break in.
Some things to note:
1) The rear site is drift adjustable for windage, but NOT for elevation.
2) The Ciener kit does NOT have a safety on it.
3) The Ciener kit comes with steel (or aluminium, not sure which) 15 round mags - The Beretta factory came with 10 round plastic mags.
4) The Beretta factory kit is no longer in production (as far as I know).
5) Finding additional Ciener kit mags is HARD (I finally tracked some down today).

All in all I'm glad that I got mine.  I am shooting my Beretta a lot more now.

Hope this helps.
