Just picked up a used 92F in great condition. Looks like it was put away by the previous owner for the last 20 years. It has maybe 150 rounds thru it. Anyway, I took it to the range today and tried a few differnet types of ball ammo in it. It groups well but shoots low and to the left by about 6 inches at 50 feet. I realize the sites are fixed. What can be done to site this gun in properly ?

Thanks,

You could get adjustable sights installed via gunsmith, but you're shooting at what most people would consider beyond normal ranges for a service pistol. This is a current discussion on adjustable sights.

You mentioned different types of ball ammo, but were they also different weights? My 92's shoot best with 124gr, FWIW.

Also, did you have different shooters try the gun to see if they got the same results? Different people have different trigger pulls & you may be pulling your trigger perhaps?

My personal source of all things 9mm ammo is GA Arms. Wonderful stuff & absolutely no problems with them at all. Nicely accurate too.

I bought a sight pusher from Brownells and adjusted the windage.
