Got a question on the age of a Beretta. Its a 92FS, stainless. All small parts except the lanyard loop are also stainless. Lanyard loop and rear sight blade are black. Sights are painted with red (same color as the safe/fire indicator on the slide). Serial number begins with BER270... Says "Made in USA" on slide. Rubber grips with Beretta logo (not wrap around). The guide rod is plastic. The magazine release button looks BRIGHT silver, almost like the galvanized steel parts I used to sell when I worked for my dad's electrical supply house. Recoil spring looks like it came out the box yesterday. Barrel is full of lint from storage, but there is no dirt on the gun anywhere else. Appears to have never been shot. Wondering if, based on the above description, anyone can reasonably guess an age. Thanks. |
