Hey Beretta fans! Does anyone know if the 92 series is anodized or are they hard anodized? Thanks for any information you all can provide. |
I am not sure if Beretta uses a hard anodizing process or not, but I can say that all five Beretta 92 and 96 series pistols I have owned have lost the anodizing on the front and back of the grip. This may be from my body PH level, but even my Italian Inox model has lost the anodizing. I have never had any issues with my Sig Sauer P-series frames, but the anodizing on my Sigs seem to be thicker in application. I will probably have my Beretta frames hard chromed when I decide to have them refinished .
