I am thinking of picking up a Beretta, I own several other makes of handguns but never a Beretta. My question is this....is the 90-two that much better than a M9, considering I can get a new M9 for $429?

Thanks for any input.....

Not in my opinion, but there are of course looks and all that kind of thing to consider.

Plus tons of people have M9/92FS pistols. 90-twos are still rare enough to get range attention, if you like that sort of thing.

they feel the same to me and the slides are not interchangable but I still got both

I do like the look of the 90 two, but with so many other projects going, I think I will just order the M9 and save a couple hundred bucks....

I didn't like the new 90-2 pistols because of the newly shaped ergo correct controls, that to me were not ergo correct and hard to use.  I strongly preferred the older pistols, but thought it interesting the new pistol has a much beefier slide.

Here's a short article that explains all the differences.  He's got a lot of other good articles worth reading too.
