Buddy has a nice stainless 92FS Vertec in 9mm, two factory 10 rounders and two Factory 15 rounders. He bought it over a year or so ago, for $550, sat in his safe, we took it out and broke it in with 100 rounds. Now he is thinking of buying a Sig, What would you say is a good selling price? Little to no wear, but has been holstered, spent it's days locked up or in bedside drawer.

Cheers BT

I'd like to know as well.  I have a matte/blued 92FS Vertec 9mm, with some finish wear on the barrel near the crown.  I upgraded it with a shorter trigger pull (92D trigger spring ) and an upgraded guide rod from BufferTech.

I was thinking around $550 as well.

Thoughts?

I agree with the trigger pull, my lord, I've always owned 1911's and the trigger pull takes some getting used to, luckly I have a great gunsmith who is going to change it out and see if he can't tune it up for me. I'd like to buy it just not sure what the going price is for them?
I was hoping the hivemind here would be able to help out.

You don't need a gunsmith for an easy trigger fix.  Just change out the stock spring to a "D" spring (a.k.a #18 hammer spring).  If you have 2 minutes of spare time, you can do it yourself.  Here's how you do it http://www.beretta92fs.com/.  Look at the video "Removing mainspring (changing for 'D' spring)."

It will help the DA pull greatly by reducing the pull.  I like the gun much better afterwards (eventhough I am still thinking of selling).

Here's a link for springs: www.gunsprings.com/SemiAuto/BerettaNF.html#Beretta92Hammer
