Just wondering if anyone ever installed a match trigger. After running a couple hundred rounds through my 96 with a .22 converion kit on the trigger felt gritty and hard to pull sometimes. It was even getting hard to pull in single action. www.redstararms.com/index.htm?c69.htm&1 |

Triggers should get easier to pull with use, not harder. 92s are infamous for the trigger return springs breaking, might wish to have yours looked at closely, IMO. I had a good old fashioned trigger job done on mine, i.e. smoothing of the action. I'm dropping in a DAO mainspring & it should be good to go then. I did glance at the web site you listed & I wonder where the advantage is for the "match" hammers are? How would these be better than a stock 92 hammer, IOW????? |
Who would pay that kind of money for a hammer? Buy an Elite II hammer and then send your pistol to David Olhasso for one of his trigger jobs. For roughly the same cost you will have a much nicer trigger pull. |
