I have a 92 Brigader FS and a 96 FS, my 92's barrel centers perfectly in the hole where the barrel comes through on the slide. My 96, the barrel is pushing down on the hole where the barrel comes out of the slide and it's wearing the park off the bottom of the barrel as the barrel slides on the bottom of that hole as the slide comes back after firing a round. I am concerned that this may throw my accuracy off. Anyone have a comment on this?

Also, when I have both of my slides held back in the open position, the barrel on my 92 doesn't wiggle as much as my 96 does.

What's up with the difference in these two pistols? Should I see if Beretta needs to "fix" my 96?

I want to accurize my pistols and I am concerned that if I do the trigger job and replace the springs, the 96 will not get the benefit of a accuracy job if the barrel is being pushed around by the slide.

Any input would be very, very helpful!

My 92FS does the same thing.  The finish is worn pretty well on the lower left side of the barrel and my pistol is very accurate so I don't think there is much if any loss in accuracy because of it.
