Left this in GD, but got little real discussion. Might be better served by posting in here.

Mini-review:  these Wilson 92gs are fantastic.   Guns have the optional action tune.   Not discernible difference in accuracy at 25 yards between my WC 92G and my CQB-E.  Wilson/Beretta has a winner here.

Happy to answer any questions.

I ordered one over the Christmas break, but haven't heard anything back from Wilson regarding delivery time.

How is the trigger?  Does it need to go back to Wilson for more magic?  Is it a short trigger, or standard?

How tight is the decocking lever?

Does the barrel have any "match" or "wc" markings, or is it standard beretta?

Have you found a holster yet which fits a light?

I ordered one over the Christmas break, but haven't heard anything back from Wilson regarding delivery time.  I ordered 5 WC 92G's through George at Gunslingers.  He initially told me Feb b/c of the action tune.  He got them early.

How is the trigger?  Does it need to go back to Wilson for more magic?  Is it a short trigger, or standard?  I wanted the short trigger.  Wilson would not spec it.  Only two options are the action tune and the mag guide.  Went with action tune. A Beretta armorer for a large local PD who says he has logged a large number of 92s over his career ran my gun for 100 rounds today.   He said my gun has the best 92g trigger pull he has felt.  Reset is also improved according to him.  My friends' gun (bottom in picture) has a better double action pull than mine (middle)  It's simply lighter.  The DA trigger pull stacks a bit on mine but is smooth throughout and lighter than standard. SA is a dream.

How tight is the decocking lever?  All decockers are appropriately sprung IMO.  Not particularly stiff. I have medium sized hands and have no problem sweeping it down with my strong hand without breaking my grip.

Does the barrel have any "match" or "wc" markings, or is it standard beretta?  Barrel is only marked "stainless."

Have you found a holster yet which fits a light?  Nope.  B/c of demand, Wilson has ordered another 1500 pistols from Beretta.   A knowledgeable friend informs me that a big name kydex manufacturer is gearing up to release some Wilson 92g holsters.  I'm going to hold off on buying one from Wilson to see if they do.

Yeah..I want one.  Get a 10% discount, so I have no excuse.  I am waiting a few weeks.  I just bought three guns; one being a 92A1.
Then I want the M9A3 when it is released....

Have you seen the magazine guide installed ?

Do you recommend it?

With A 2 month wait added to my delivery date and the added cash involved. Would you recommend the trigger job?

I have never had a 92 with any type of trigger job or D spring installed, so I was not sure if you think I would be happy with It as shipped from the factory.

I have no experience with the mag guide.  So cannot say.  However, it is a cheap part, and IIRC, a very easy DIY install.  I might order the part and throw it on, but it does appear to extend the grip a bit more than I would like.  I love this gun and am hoping to add to my CC rotation.  Dont want anything that makes it larger.

On the other hand, I HIGHLY recommend the action job.  It is worth the wait and the price is reasonable.   You will not regret it.  The SA has zero creep and breaks as best as I can tell at 4lbs or so.  The DA is so smooth.  Do eet!

Ask and ye shall receive.

10 rounds each target.   Shot 2 rounds at a time.  First shot DA, second shot SA.

I carried a Beretta 92 for years and it served me faithfully; I am also still a big fan.

If I chose to carry a double/single 9mm again this would be a "no-brainer."

 Really sweet 'heater OP
