Hey guys, what's your opinion on this? SGS Comp

I know the recoil isn't much to begin with, but how much does it help? How easy is it to install? Edit: Just read that it comes with an extended guiderod, and that's all there is to it.

Is this a good site to buy from?

Thanks for all your help. I am not ashamed to say that I would be willing to fork over $250 for something that just adds a badass look to something

I bought a sgs style comp from a guy on the Beretta Forum who makes them himself, I believe it is Ric. He fits the bushing and pins it in as well, which is needed due to the gases affecting the metal. Some manufacturers of these style comps. don't put a bushing on their's and it might not be a problem, but logically it makes sense to have it for extra durability and stability. He has been around a while and I have bought a few things from him over the years and he makes a great comp.. The comp. itself is easy to install. The only fitting you have to do is poss. file down a little bit of the inside of the wings that stabilize against your frame. It is not the designs fault, but due to the Beretta frame changes over the years, some are wider than others. It took me about 5 min. to properly fit mine and install it. It gives it a cool look and actually tames recoil a little better, even in the 92. I bought one and am glad I did. Every time I look at it I get a smile and it gets a bunch of looks at the range.

I bought one of the first production runs from ric .it is very well made and well worth the money. Just know that you will mar your frame and barrel. No way around it.
