I am putting together a spare parts kit and found this 'updated' trigger spring... Does anyone have experience with it? If it prevents breakages and is easier to install than the original spring, I am all for it. As an FYI, my 92 is not used as a carry weapon, so that worry is not pertinent to me.

I use it. Great upgrade but sounds like you don't need it. You must swap to a metal trigger though before you install.

I have their reduced power version in all of my 92's. Fabulous upgrade over the OEM spring in both design & function, IMO. As noted, they work only with steel triggers.

I had it on all my 92s (Standard Power).

I think its worth the coin, if only due to how much of a PITA it is to install the factory trigger return spring.

Worthwhile upgrade. Much easier to install than the factory mousetrap style spring. Superior design too. The lighter weight one can reduce the trigger pull slightly.

I have the reduced power unit.  I have had no problems with it.

I put one in my 92f. It does wonders for the feel of the trigger. 100% reliable for me, and I've never heard of a problem with one.

I have the standard weight one in mine.  IMO it's well worth it.  Works great and exactly as advertised.
