What do I need to know?
My local shop has one in classic .22 w/the beavertail frame for $549 + tax. I'm thinking about picking it up and buying the .45 (carry) caliber exchange kit for it from SIG. I like the SAO model because I have carried a 4" 1911 for about two years and the operations for these two are similar. Thanks, lrc |
| Typically I'm a 1911 guy all the way. However I've taken to carrying my 220 Elite Carry SAO more than my 1911's... It's a beast of a gun. However if you are used to your thumb riding the thumb safety you will have to get used to rolling your thumb down off the tab after disengaging it. If you ride the safety on the SAO 220 the slide won't lock back on empty. |
