| The price is $495 i was thinking of trying to get him down to either 425-450 .. Is this a good price for a used 226R? It seems to be in great condition, doesnt know the year it was made or how many rounds have been through it. It does have a rail. Im guessing thats what its a 226'R'. |

http://grayguns.com/guide-to-sig-sauer-pistol-inspection/ check the rails if you can before any purchase, by these standards.
You might want to ask for the serial number to have the police run a record check against the gun, to make sure it hasn't been stolen or anything else bad. If it's really in great condition after you check the rails, and wasn't stolen, it's one of the lowest prices that I've ever seen on a P226 that wasn't in horrid condition. You should probably go for it quickly, if you really want it. It won't be around for long. |

If you could somehow get it for $450, it would practically be theft on your part! |

+1 on buy it now!
If the gun is in good shape that is an awesome deal no matter how many mags come with it. You didn't mention the sights (those can be changed) but a NIB P226 with constrast sights will run you ~$750 based on what I've seen. Siglights will run just under $800. Like others have noted, make sure you do a thorough inspection first. |

It doesnt have night sights... but i ended up getting him down to $475. Im going either Friday or Saturday to pick it up. His credit machines dont work so i have to get cash. And i work the rest of the week. That's good to hear. Make sure you post some pictures when you pick it up. You're going to LOVE it! |
