I looked long and hard for a SIG P220 in .38 Super. Finally found one. I have laser sights, Heine (sp?) Straight-Eight, Slant Pro Night sites on this pistol - the rear sight is low-mounted for carry. Now all is well except for the TRIGGER. Seems as if there's an inch (exageration) of travel before the trigger begins to engage and after engagement it will not win any prizes. By accident I found one company, EGW, that states they do SIG trigger work but I know nothing, nothing about them. Any thoughts or ideas ?? (No, the spill ckr is not working this AM !) |

You did nt say if this was on single action or double action, if it is on double action there is definetly something a miss. My recommendation is get in touch with ActionsbyT Teddy Jacobson is THE priemer Sig smith, bar none his work is proven and gaurenteed beyond all others www.actionsbyt.com/ and spell checker is still down |
None of the 220's are DAO, my response was ment as, if the take up was in single action this is normal, if it is double action it is not. Sorry for the confusion I would buy it, and then send it to Sig, as their customer service is 100% they will take care of any problems under warranty |
I've bought the pistol used - about six years old and with 50 rounds through it. The trigger just sucks - this is the worst trigger I've ever had excepting one Walther. Teddy and I have already been in touch. The Teddy says he can give me 9 pounds DA and 4 pounds SA. Opinions |
