How come the P226 Tactical is not listed on Sig's site?

There are a few guns listed that have threaded barrels, but they are all special editions.

Also the "P226 Tactical" is not an easy weapon to find.

Does this weapon really exist?  or is it just a regular P226 with the end-user adding a threaded barrel?

I think the P226 Tactical was replaced by the P226 Combat Tactical.
It now has Phosphated internals for "extreme corrosion resistance" and a earth tone frame.

Meh, what if one does not care for the FDE frame...

Not really digging the lack of options here Sig!

RSR had a run of Suppressor ready pistols done. Threaded barrels(with standard threads instead of metric) and lanyard loops.
They also supposedly have tall night sites that are usable with the can suppressor mounted

Sorry, but who is RSR?

Good deal about tall night sights, but I'd actually rather have metric threads.

RSR is one of sigs distributors. They can be ordered from just about any dealer.

I want to see one in person. I would also like to know who is making the sights for them

I've just got to say that that "earth toned frame" is somewhat fugly.

If it's your cup of tea, then cool.

Personally, I like 'em black.

I have both the p226 tactical and the p226 combat threaded barrel. The frame isn't as gold looking as it is in the pics. The combat has a chrome lined barrel, coated internals and a true m1913 picatinney rail. the thing I didn't like about the combat was the color of the grips, they are more of a coyote tan so I took them off and put the sct extended magwell grips on it.  they are both great guns and if you look you can find a tactical around, last time I was at my local gun shop they still had one in the case.
