Hey Guys and Gals,
Recently purchased a 2022 after hearing some good reviews on it, and apparently misunderstood when doing so and though the pistol could be modified as is to be either DAO or DA/SA. After a little research I found that I need a replacement DAO fire control unit to make it DAO. So after looking for a 2022 fire control unit the few I found are 180 a pop. Which needless to say makes the gun not near as worth it in DAO form to me, however I have a question to beg. On some of the forums people have stated that the Sig Pro 2009 is VERY similar and also has a seperate contained fire control unit. While many have said they believe they will swap without problem, no one has reported back on whether it will work. The 2009 fire control unit is $40...a much more affordable buy. So my question is, does anyone know if the 2009 fire control unit will work in the 2022? If not, does anyone know of anywhere to get a 2022 fire control unit for less than $180? Thanks. |
