I ordered 2 Sig P6's from centerfire systems way back at the end of feb (a week or so after the madness began). I still have not even been charged for my order. I have asked several times if they were in stock (they were "delayed" for the whole month of March (according to them)). I sent then an E-mail the beginning of this week, and they said that they had not gotten my FFL (which is BS, because I called my FFL the DAY I ordered them, and had them fax a copy......(my FFL does business with them on their own, and Centerfire has a copy for that purpose......and centerfire also did not contact me until I prompted them as to why it has been over a month since I ordered an "in stock" gun (which is when they said that they were "still waiting on my ffl." I contacted my FFL again today, and asked them to resend it (they were wondering what was going on too). Anyone got any information on what I should do, because I am getting REALLY PISSED about this whole mess. Reeks of problems. If a transaction like this occurred on the EE, the seller would have been in trouble by now. Problems: 1. No guns 2. No communication (until I prompted them as to why I had not gotten my guns) 3. Lies about having a copy of my FFL (which they have on file due to my FFL doing business with them....even if my FFL hadn't sent them a copy via fax, which they confirmed that they had today when I had them on the phone). 4. Another customer has gotten their P6 at the same FFL, from Centerfire....the gun is waiting to be picked up at this moment Does anyone know of a different dealer who has Sig P6 guns? I will be calling them on Monday, if Centerfire gives me any crap except a "we're sorry, heres a token (something), and I will personally see to them being shipped out today" I will be terminating my order. |

nothing worse than getting the run-around...I'd tell them to stick the order where the sun doesn't shine, I'm taking my business elsewhere... Personally I bought 2 of them from AIM and had no problems what so ever. But they don't have any in stock, you would have to pre-order and wait longer, and go through the hassle of re-sending an FFL...etc. There are a few more sites that are carrying them, you can also check Gunbroker.com, although you probably won't get one cheaper than $300 from there. |

I called Centerfire early this week and asked if they had any P6s in stock. I was told no but, a new shipment of P6s was coming in next week. I then had my dealer send his FFL to Centerfire. I called Centerfire Friday to place the order and was then told they had found a P6 and would ship it this monday. It was $263 shipped. Did anyone make a P6 return to Centerfire this past week? |
| I recieved my P6 from Centerfire last week. I placed my oreder on Feb 12th, in which they were out of stock back then. I think if you stay calm and use your head, you will get your gun. Maybe your FFL dealer messed upsomewhere. I have dealt with Centerfire from the first week they have been in buisness and I have never had one bit of trouble with them. If another customer at the same FFL had gotten his gun from Centerfire then they have your FFL on record, sounds like a simple lack of communocation. First, did you or your FFL call Centerfire? Did you or your FFL get the name of the person in which you spoke with? If you have that persons name, there you go. If not, you really need to keep track of all your records so you will have them to fall back on. It really sounds like you and your FFL need to be in the same room on a speakerphone to Centerfire so you can hear for yourself and your dealer together. These people at Centerfire are not crooks or liars. Take the time to get your situation under control and they will take care of you. Remember to ask the persons name to whom you spoke with, write it down, keep notes. It works. |
When did you place the order with Centerfire? |
You'll be even happier after you shoot it... I just shot mine for the first time yesterday (6/80) and was VERY pleased. No malfunctions, good accuracy and the sights are pretty decent even though they're not hi-viz.
