I am thinking of selling one of my toys. Does anyone know what the value of a Sig 232, 380 in stainless with Hogue grips, original grips, box and all paperwork. I would say the gun is in 99% condition. Very accurate and has never malfunctioned. |

Those are really junk. I'd give you $50 just to take it off your hands. PM me any time. Just messing with you dude. Search it on Gunbroker, items that have sold in the last 30 days, and you'll get a good idea. The search I ran indicated a preponderance toward $425-$430. If you have a local buyer, you could probably move it for $450 considering they wouldn't be paying a transfer or shipping. -David Edgewood, NM |

Not to discourage you but I have seen a couple of guys at shows who could not...almost literally...give them away...same with the P230. I turned one 232 SS down at $200 almost NIB (I am not a .380 fan). I think it depends on your local market and would thus recommand you sell it via the net, where you can get what it is worth out of it. JMO Very nice llittle .380 BTW...I just don't 'do' .380's. |
Um...gotta call you out on this one...you can get $200 for a clean used Bersa .380, and at least the Sig comes with 2 mags...my BS meter is pegged. $350 would be dirt cheap IMHO if your Sig is 99% with case + 2 mags. |
That may be true where you live...it may even be true here as well on some days, but I know what I saw, and I know I have seen more than one guy with a 230 / 232 he was having a big problem unloading in this area. Bersas are only sold here in pawn shops and even then most thugs and thugettes prefer the Hi Point in 9mm or 40. The Bersas are good little guns but do not sell well here either. I have no doubt the SS is well 'worth' $350 or more, but only if you can get the money...around these parts that will be very difficult to do. |

Why sell it? I have a blued 232 and it is a great weapon. I call BS on a stainless 232 going for $200. When I worked at Sportsmans I ordered a stainless 232 (factory new) from a distributor for a customer, he paid $650 and said it was the best price he could find on a new one. I've never seen a 230 or 232 under 400 around here. Maybe 375 for a beat up 230. |

I have never seen one for under 400.00 around here. The last time I checked at a show (about 1 year ago), new was about $500 if I remeber correctly. The gun shoots great, handdles nice, cleans easily and looks awsome. I just dont ever shoot it due the price of ammo. I can buy 100 rounds of 9mm for the price of 50 .380. I was considering selling it to help finnance something I would use a little more. Then there is always the dilema: It is a great back up weapon, its extremly reliable. I keep it down stairs for an emergancy BU. If I did sell it which one would I put in its place? |
I buy and sell guns as a hobby. ARs and other long guns, that is, because I don't really are about ARs - I can always build another. I don't sell handguns because I did that once (high end 1911) and will forever regret it. If you are happy with it, don't sell it. |
| My friend is looking for one and she can't find one under $500 once you factor in shipping and transfer fees. I told her to hold out, before her CPL arrives she should be able to find one at a gun show. Honestly, I think anyone who passed up on one under $200 is a fool. Unless of course you're broke. You can sell it easy for twice that. Its like buying a hundred dollar bill for 50 bucks. |
