| I picked up my Sig today from the gun shop. Its a Sig 229 chambered in the 40 cal. If I had a camera, their would have been some pictures. I am currently looking to buy a few more magazines. I found a place called CDNN, and they have Sig 229 mags for $29.99. I was wondering if this is a good price for those mags, and if CDNN is a good place to shop. |
| Thanks for info, I placed my order for those mags a few minutes ago on their web page. I can see my self getting another one. I shot mad dad's a few weeks ago, and from that point on, I had to have one. I shot mine this morning for the 1st time, and I feel the sickness. |

For the best prices and always good comms, I deal with Greg / member usaoz on SIGforum's classified board. Sig mags Sig factory magazines all new in wrap without LEO marking: P229 12 round .40/.357 blued $29.95 Stay away from promags. |
Too bad you live in MD though J/k CDNN has some of the best prices on new sig magazines. There are a lot of readily available used mags out there for sig handguns and they are usually about $15 each. |
You find me a job in VA that I can do making $100k with a 10 minute commute and figure away to get all my family to come and I'll gladly go. I know this state sucks but it wouldn't be wise to just leave and have nothing just to live in VA, although I feel like it sometimes. |

The only thing I don't like about CDNN is the $10.00 flat shipping fee, even if you only order a firing pin that costs $0.50 to ship. I always wait until a have a bunch of stuff, or go in with friends. They are trustworthy, imo. ETA if you like the P229, you should try a P228 if you can find one. Lighter, slightly shorter, accepts P226 mags and points like a dream. They are no longer imported, so you'd have to look for a used one. I love my P228 more than all my other Sigs, past and present. |
