| Does anybody now what the average turnaround time is for their products? I ordered a 229 SAS (my first Sig) almost 3 months ago. My FFL said Sig usually fills orders in about a week. I didn't think a gun coming from the custom shop would only take a week; but 3 months? Am I being over anxious? What are your guys experiences? Thanks Sgt Bell |

Just like ANY gun manufacturer, they do limited runs of pistols. (500 of one, 150 of another, whatever the market needs) The SAS is probably waiting for the next run. I'm 100% serious, I see alot of sigs and I had an equinox backordered for 4 months due to waiting for the run to start. |
| I just bought a 229 SAS here in CT about 4 weeks ago. One dealer (Hoffman's in Newington CT) had about 30 different SIG's, including most of the SAS models. I think he has a 229 SAS in an "ER" model designation right now (I don't know if that differs from the standard SAS) selling for about $900 i think. When you get one, you will love it! The DAK trigger short reset is taking a little getting used to, and you need fairly big hands for the wooden grips, but it is a beautifully finished pistol, dead on POA,and a pure pleasure to shoot. |
