Well, I always had a Glock around, though I never liked them.  Have been a SIG fan for a long time though.  My local dealer had a 226 DAK sitting on the shelf for well over a year.  Since we get along well, I was joking if he got rid of my Glock (at a $100 profit to me though I didn't tell him that), i'd get that Sig out of his sight.  Well, he not only went for it, he sold me a NIB 226 for $550 and gave me $400 for my Glock (which I got for $300).  I've put some rounds through it, and though the DAK isn't great, it isn't bad either.  I like the gun way better then the Glock and it fits my hand much better.  I would have preferred a .40, but it was a 9mm.  I figure the ammo is cheaper and i've got 31 rounds on me with only 1 extra mag.

So, now I have an old 220, a 220ST, a 220 Carry DAK, a 229, a P6 (225), and the new 226.  The 226 will probably see some holster time as it is authorized for off duty with my agency.

AJ
