[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Blue Hard Case for P232

I bought a new P232 at a fun show a couple of weekends ago but the shop I bought it from forgot the case. I just received the case in the mail yesterday. The cut out looks like it belongs to a a 228 or 229. Is this typical or is there a specific cut out for a 232?

My only other Sig is a 226 in the old gray case so I'm not sure what's typical with the new blue ones.

the case should have a sticker with the guns info on it, does it match the gun?

I called the shop from work and they told me the same thing. Told them I would call when I got home to verify that the serial number on the box matches the gun. When I came home I was shocked to find out that it does. Why would Sig ship a P232 in another guns box?

cheaper to make 5 boxes for 10 different guns then 10 boxes for 10 different guns. its all about the bottom line. make one box for your full size one for the mid and one for the small and a couple for any specialty guns you make.
