i just posted but have another question. i have a 229 in .40 and am saving for a 226 in 9mm. will the grip and feel be very similar? enough to adapt very quickly? also wondering if i should try the dak or go da/sa again. any advice?

you should have no problems transitioning from the 229 to the 226, the grip will fill your hand a little more but it will feel esentially the same in my experience (228 to 226).

A 226 and 229 are both different sized frame guns. They will feel different.
