I recently purchased a 9mm 229R. I have shot approximately 300 rounds (Winchester 115gr FMJ). I was cleaning the barrel when I noticed that the barrel threading looks a bit shaved when I'm looking through the muzzle. I quickly field stripped it to get a better look and the threading looks good up until about an 1/8" from the muzzle area. Is this normal? This is my first handgun and I just want to make sure it isn't a defect. |
