Maybe I neglected to read the fine print somewhere, but EVERY pistol I see on Sig's website now has a rail on it. Why? Can I get a NEW 220 or 226 WITHOUT a rail? I dont plan on mounting a light and really dont like the looks of a rail.

Yes, I'm sure you'll be able to find new old stock for a while. Try www.gunbroker.com or CDNN Investments.

Sig has discontinued importation of nonrailed frames for regular production guns. The SAS models don't have rails, but do have the DAK trigger, for what thats worth. I agree that the option would be nice, but I also admit that my opinion doesn't really matter as I buy all of mine used anyway.

I just got a Sig P245 at a VERY good price because the Dealer
was Blowing out his older stock!

You can still find 'em but you better hurry. There will be no more until the next "trend" comes along.
