I just put a like NIB SIG 220 with a rail in satin grey on layaway but it only has one mag. Has any one used the Novak mags in them. I noticed that they were about $12 cheaper than the factory mags and the Novaks I have for my 1911 work fantastic. So does any one have any experiance with the Novak mags in the 220? Also has any one tried the 10rd Pro Mags with Wolff springs in them or any thing?

I have an 8 round Novak mag for my P220.   I like it better than the Sig factory mags.   It has been 100% so far.

The ACT-Novaks are the only mags I've used for the last couple of years. Each one has had at least a couple hundred rounds through 'em by now. I definately prefer them over factory.

Thanks for the info I will certainly get the Novaks. I know I love them in my 1911 and only use them now. For $15 you can not beat them for a 1911 in my opinion.

I'd avoid promags for a P220 like an STD if I were you.

I got it for a steel. It is used but like new in the box. In fact it looked better than the new one I looked at. I got mine for $499 and the new one was $799. It is the grey stainless one with the rail and black houge grips.

I have 5 promags for my 226 but haven't gotten the chance to try them out I hope they don't suck as much as I've heard AFTER I bought them.

If they do I heard that the Wolff springs can help a lot and actualy make them worth having. It would be expensive to do it all from scratch but not if you already had the mags. I would try the +5% springs if they do not work. Just my two cents.  I hope they work for you with no problem.

A friend of mine uses 10 round Pro Mags in his P220, he's never had any trouble with them that I know of.

Received 4 ACT/Novaks for my P220 from CDNN the other day.  All work flawlessly.

I use 10 round Promags for IPSC-type shooting with not one problem yet. I just think the percentages are worse with the Promags, but mine have been fine so far.

Yeah, I ordered five and took the gun to competition the weekend after they arrived.  Ran 100%, locked the slide back fine.  Did good at the shoot, aside from the fact that I was running a single stack against hi-cap Glocks and Berettas.  Oh well.
