I have a few older p226s and am looking at a new rx, it has the e2 setup, is this strictly a grip difference? Does it have an identical Frame? I asked in case I don't like the new grip and want to switch it out to one of the ones I'm more used to.
Thanks |
| The newer E2 guns/grips can be switched out for the older style grips no problem. Some of the older guns can't be switched to the E2 grip without replacing the hammer strut/spring/springcup, and sometimes the decocking lever on the side. So if you buy a newer P226 and it has the E2 grip, yes you can take the grip off and put one of your old grips on it. |

No mag compatibility problems or any real reason to worry? Thanks for the help, i see the mk25, but I'm not crazy about the fde or the sao trigger for the other rx options |
