I've been seriously looking at the 220R as my next purchase. I actually got the chance to rent one yesterday and MAN, do I love that gun

So what do you all think that I should pay for a NIB 220R? I know the stainless comes with the rail standard.

Blue 220R or the 220ST

Thanks

I paid $789 for mine with two 8 round magazines. That's a high price. I've seen them lower since then but I've also seen them just as high. That was my total price since I purchased my weapon on a military base without taxes. Check out CDNN's catalog at http://www.cdnninvestments.com/dowournewcat.html since they only allow sells via this catalog and by phone only. Also check out Ordnance Outsellers at http://www.ordnanceoutsellers.com/index.htm. I've seen this weapon at lower prices than mine but I am happy with my purchase. There are also real nice used guns at decent prices.

I got mine for 689 from sportingarms.com. P220R with night sights and 3 8 rounders. It's been a couple of months, so I dont know what they are now.

Not in stock right now, but he should have some soon. James is a great guy to deal with and I swear my 220ST was new, even though it came in a SIG refurb box.  I would take the steel one again, but that's just me.

my p220 is my personal carry gun since the beretta got stolen.

long story there i won't bother going into.

at any rate, it is my 3rd sig p220.  i keep getting used ones with night sights for about 475-550 with 1-2 mags.  they all have, so far, been excellent weapons.  i have given two of them away to close friends because i think they're great guns, worth giving to a close buddy.

my current pistol, sitting in front of me now, after i just took it out of the carry-bag, is a night-sighted black pistol, which shows almost no wear, and has to be at least 3-7 years old.  it's not "made in west germany" like the other two i had, it just says "made in germany" on it.  i love it, it's great, and i test my handload .45s in either it or the springfield full-size 1911.

fwiw - super gun for about 1/2 what a tricked out 1911 will cost you.... my .02

peace through superior firepower.

Doubtful they will be in stock at that price again.  He just put all his sigs on clearance, and then will raise the price with the new Sig dealership relationship.
