For anyone with a 320, are you using a 6 o'clock hold, or does it shoot POA/POI?

My new 9mm subcompact has #8 sights front & rear (like my p-series), but needs a 6 o'clock hold. I'm getting some very good groups with this gun as is, just not sure if I like a 6 o'clock hold on a carry gun.

6 o'clock hold will make you shoot POI low. If I don't pay attention I tend to shoot a bit right though. I get best results holding dead on in the middle of the target.

Ammo type? Heavier bullet will hit a little high.

On my P320 Compact when I had factory sights(Not sure the sight numbers but I'm thinking #8s) I Had to cover the target with the dot with 115gr and 124 gr.

P08 - This ones shooting about 2-2.5" high at 50 ft, 1.5" at 20-25ft. 6 o'clock hold puts them on target. Any chance you could check what sight #s yours has?

ScoutH57 - Shot a few different brands - mostly AE, but shot a bit of Gold Dots & Federal Hi-Shok. All 115 grain. Had to use a 6 o'clock hold on all of them.

Did a firearms test at work with the 320 last year.  The 8 front and rear sights on the 9mm do shoot high.  The funny thing is the 40 with the exact same sights was dead on at 25 yards with our 180 grain ammo.  We have the carry model now as a duty gun and Sig changed to 8 front and 6 rear for it to be a combat hold.  Changing between 115, 124 and 147 didn't change things much.  David

Thanks, good to know what sight replacement I'd need.

For someone that's never replaced pistol sights before, how difficult of a job is it to do myself? Have seen a few youtube vids of sight pushers that look pretty simple. Seen a few using punches, but also read it's not a great idea on night sights. Or am I better off just taking it to a gunsmith?

P320F 45 w/factory night sights fired at 50 feet.  I used a 6 O'clock hold:

Good enough for me.

@15 yards shooting POA = POI actually a bit to the right and this was done via pistol rest.

Any ideas for best way to adjust rear sight or just use hammer and brass punch?

I haven't gotten a sight tool yet for the Armory so I've been using a block of hard wood.  Someone in the office buggered up the end of the brass punch.  The 320 sights aren't that hard to move.   David
