| Just bought my first sig. A P250 compact threaded barrel. I am going to use this pistol for practice and competition in 9mm and want to have a 357 sig setup for self defense. What all do I need to buy for the swap? |

Thanks for the info. By chance do you know about what price the kit goes for? It was about $250 or so if I remember. If it's not listed on the Sig website their customer service could tell you if they still sell them. If they don't I'm sure you could find one on Gunbroker and I've seen them on eBay. |

Quoted: Another quick question, I keep seeing people mention a SRT. What is it and is it something I should be looking for for this pistol? Short Reset Trigger. Available from SIG. The short reset trigger would just make your 10 lb pull much shorter than it is currently. |

I love my P250. Yes, the DAO trigger takes some getting used to. I did follow some advice from Lefty over on Sigtalk to shim out the the back of the grip module to reduce the slop in the trigger (if you search for the thread over there you'll find my pictures on how to do it).
The question is what caliber do you have now. The SIG caliber conversion kit likely has MORE than you need. It contains the slide, barrel, spring, and a grip module. If you already have a .40 S&W you can save a lot of money because all you really need to do is replace the barrel. If you have a 9mm, you'll need the new slidespring. If you have a 45, you need a slide/spring and the grip module. |
