is the P226 E2 grip the same as the P227? I need a replacement for my 227 since mine just cracked trying to reinstall it.

| Thanks for letting me know they're not interchangeable. It cracked at the top of the backstrap while sliding it on and snapping it back into place. It was the first time taking it off and putting it back on too. While it feels great on the gun I was surprised how cheap it felt once removed. |

They will send you a new one for free. Same thing happened to me taking mine apart using the little tool and everything. Called them they sent out a new grip same day, |
