I'm thinking about getting a P938, maybe the extreme edition. Gun store I price checked with quoted $685. MSRP from sig is listed as $833 and gunbroker has prices all over. What do you all think, is $685 FO worthy?

Yes! I love mine! Great gun. Trigger is heavy from factory but other than that its gtg!

Yup that's a great price I paid that for a nightmare version and the extreme is supposed to be more money than the nightmare.  I didn't mind though because it was the only one around.

Topgun lists them at $630 but they are out of stock. I do not think $685 is that great of a deal currently. I have seen them locally at gun shows, only a few, for $600 ish to %650 ish.

Thanks for the responses everyone. I looked around some more and found a better deal on a non extreme version. Palmetto State Armory has the sports 13 version for 539.99 so I went for it.

I picked one up after two days of hunting all the shops in a two hundred mile radius. I payed 585$ OTD. I think you did right on passing that one up

What a steal. I paid $55o from PSA for mine a few months back. Love it. Anyone know why the sports model tends to be so much cheaper? All the components are the same, correct?

I guess giving $500.00 for my Extreme was a pretty good deal.

Last week I picked up a rosewood grip 938 for 589 OTD...as soon as I got home, my wife said it was cute and handed me back my 239 and walked away with it...TODAY I went back and got my extreme with 3 mags for 559 OTD due to be such a good customer. Could be because they've ass pounded me in the past many times...

That is a pretty good deal for the Sport.

I believe I picked mine up back in Jan or Feb from Summit Gun Broker. I can't remember the price but they had the cheapest prices at the time, I'm not sure about now.

I would fo at that price. It's a great gun. The trigger is heavy but not enough to be concerned about.

If you guys will just boost the hammer several dozen times and put some slide glide on the sear your trigger will seem like a different gun.

Just got my Rosewood for about the same price you paid.

Gun functions flawless, not a single issue and I'm @ 350 rounds.

Bought it from a friend who needed money fast for a family emergency. It had a total of 7 rds through it when I bought it. I actually felt bad about it, and offered to let him redeem it for the same amount, if he ever wants it back. If he does, I'm screwed, because then I'll have to pop for a new one, I've come to really like this pistol, a lot.
