I am having trouble finding 15rd 9mm magazines for my P226 MK25.  Are ProMags any good? It seems Natchez has them in stock.

I recently purchased the P226 Mk25 and it came with 3 10rd magazines (NJ).

Thanks.  The price seemed too low.  I will keep looking.

I thought I had some from CDNN, but I received an email saying they were out of stock after I placed the order.

For a Sig, IMO, ProMag is what one considers only when desperate, and then only at a super-cheap price, and then only for range use, and then only until Sig factory or MecGar mags can be obtained.

I have two old Promag 9mm P226 mags that I got used for next to nothing. They worked 100% in my older P226. Then I bought a newer Navy and full stainless models and they're horrible in those guns. The symptoms seemed to point to weak springs, so I just installed factory Sig springs but haven't had a chance to test them yet.

That probably explains why there are mixed reviews.

I've never had positive experience with Promags in any of the guns I've tried them in, which is a shame since they cover many guns and are made in USA.

If they do work then I think that's great.  However, I personally would still relegate them to range use.

They're in stock for a reason.

For the life of me I can't figure out how they are still in business- I've never seen one of their products that actually worked.

Have about 4 or 5 of them for my p229.  Made me think my gun had become unreliable.  Experience was so bad that although I'm saving them for "range" mags I can't bring myself to actually use them so they've been sitting in a drawer for about 5 years.  Seeing my trusty Sig malfunciton is more than I can bear so I only use factory mags now

I have a few pro mags that I use for the range. Never failed me yet. Mec-gars are the go to for any other task.
