I used to carry a SW M&P.45, and then got a Sig 229 Elite in .40 Well I loved the Sig so much that I sold the SW and bought a 220C to be used as a primary carry piece. I carry it with the 6 rd mag and one 6 rd mag as a spare. For range and personal defense league shoots I use an 8 rd mag.

The 220C isn't quite as smooth as the 229 Elite, (at least not in my hands) but I've never had a FTF, FTE or any other issue with it.

I have been carrying a P245 for years and have a 220 compact as well. I shoot the 220 compadt as well or better than anything I own. Awesome weapon,I wouldnt carry anything else.

shot it saturday. VERY smooth shooter. i do notice it seems that the sights are WAY high on it. may have to change those. recoil is on par if not a little better than my full size p220.

pretty impressed with the thing.

just looked that up. that explains it. oddly my p220 combat doesn't need that. or it could just be i suck as a pistol shooter.
