I went to the range today and put 45 cartridges through my compact P250.  Mainly I was testing a modification I made to the two old-style magazines (different follower and shorter spring) to see if they would now lock the slide back after the last round.  They do.  Huzzah!  However, towards the end of the session, I had a couple of rounds fail to fire.  I examined them and the ejected brass laying around.  The primers were dented a bit less than average, but not what I would characterize as light primer strikes.  The ammo is the 124 grain RWS stuff that seems to have disappeared from the retail sources I use.  The pistol now has around 500 rounds through it.

Recap if you will.

What was the story here.

There's not really a story.  I usually chime in when folks are contemplating getting a P250.  This time I just decided to post away rather than waiting to reply.

Did you try to second-strike the cartridges to see if they went off?

And since it's 124 grain, I'm going to guess it was 9mm ammo?

Yep, second strike did it on both of them.  I sorted the range brass from that trip earlier tonight.  A significant amount (~20%) of it had a small dimple, slide marks toward the center, and then the full dimple.  The two that looked like light primer strikes were off-center in the same spot as the small dimple on the other pieces of brass.  I really wish I knew if the brass with the slide marks on the primer were all from the end of the session or mixed throughout.  It was RWS 9mm, which seems to work great.
