Hi guys,

I have a SP2022 in 9mm, and recently ordered a double mag pouch directly from Sig. I assumed since they make the damn things, they would know which accessories will fit the gun/magazines. Boy was I wrong. They sent me the double mag pouch that was supposed to fit, but the pockets are too wide and even with the adjustment screw tightened all the way, it won't retain my 9mm mags. I was very disappointed. I'm sending the pouch back now (on my own dime for return shipping), and I'm afraid that the one they send back will have the same problems. Have any other sp2022 owners had the same problem, or did they possibly package the wrong size mag pouch in the right packaging? I verified the product number with Steve from their customer service, who said that he has sent out a ton of them without a hitch.

Thanks for the input.

If the mag pouch was specific to that frame then there shouldn't be much variance in size to begin with, since the .40 can be converted to 9 or .357sig. I've never had an issue with an accessory made by sig before... Does the product number on the packaging match the number on the pouch tag?

There are no markings on the pouch itself, and when I called sig they checked the product number on the box and said it should be right. I'm sending it back so hopefully it was just a case of a mislabeled product.

The better option would have been to get a aftermarket custom Kydex double mag pouch from Raven or ZCS fit that particular magazine

Usually factory accessories suck compared to what is on the market.
