| How critical is slide to frame fit on a P226?? I saw one the other day that was looser than I have ever seen a Sig. was actually sloppy...thanks in advance |
| Therre was another thread around here about this the other day. The conclusion was that some are rock solid, some were loose, and it didn't matter. However, if it's as loose as it sounds, it may actually be deffective. Handle ssome other Sigs and see, it may be withing the normal tolerances. |
| Thats just it, it was substantially looser than others I handled. A dealer has it, happens to be a friend of mine, but doesnt know much about Sigs. I told him it felt awfully loose to me. I disassembled it, the frame looks good with no abnormal wear, and the slide has been refinished,,,I think it is a Sig "preowned" .....I think I will call Sigarms tomorrow and talk to them and report back |
