CDNN has Sig 220 Compact pistols with a beavertail frame. I don't know what it is about them, but I've wanted one since I first laid eyes on them.

This particular frame design is not to be found of Sig's website. What can you folks tell me about this pistol? Will the current 220 parts interchange with this model? What year were they manufactured? Any issues or faults with this design? Any info you could provide would be great.

ETA: I assume the dimensions of this pistol are the same as the current 220's.

How much are they asking for them?

If it is the P220 Compact Single Action Only, the regular P220 parts do not work with them (obviously)....I have read of a lot of people buying these and they seem to be pleased with them...as for the regular P220 Compact, I had one and it was very nice...replaced it with a P245 as it is nearly the same pistol but more like my older P220...good luck with your choice...

Sig does not list them on their web page under their current hand guns. This gun is no longer in production. Look under the discountuned section on the Sig webpage. Its listed there.

I just purchased one of these pistols through a local gun shop.  I've only had it at the range twice so far, with 300 rounds through it.  I can honestly say I'm very pleased with it.  I'm more accurate with this compact than my full size 226.

My 220 Compact from CDNN was made in 2010.

German frame, US slide. I like to think of it as SIG's CCO. It has the same thickness as any 220 (the aluminum grips that come with it are the thinnest you can get), slide length of the "Carry" model and then the shortened 6 round capacity frame (though you can still run all p220 mags in it).

This gun has all the bells and whistles of an "elite" model SIG. This model just wasn't a big seller, so now it's discontinued and you're able to get a $1,000 SIG for around $600 (shipping/ transfer).

The aluminum grips are also surprisingly very comfortable.

This is the best handgun deal out there, IMO. High end SIG for Glock pricing.
