I just bought my first SIG and now I'm looking to pick-up some mags.  I've found some Promag 10rd P220 mags for $20 each, which is very inexpensive compared to other mag prices I've seen for SIGs.  My main concern is whether or not they're quality mags.

I've done some reading on the intarwebz and they have a lot of mixed reviews, so I think I'll pass.  I have found some 8rd Act brand mags for the same price, though I would prefer to have those extra 2 rounds per mag.

Never had any for a Sig, but never had a reliable one for any other gun.

I had bad luck with pro mags.  Have about 5 that I decided I'd only use for range use, but were so unreliable and frustrating that I just use my Sig mags all the time.

What do ya'll use for mags?

I just can't stomach spending $50 on a mag just 'cause it says "SIG".  I must be spoiled by my $25 Chip McCormick power mags.

I have several that I got with an old 228 and one with a USP45. None of these mags have failed yet and I have left them loaded for extended periods of time. That being said, I consider these junk mags and would never use them for anything other than range mags nor would I pay for them. Buy factory or Mec Gar when it comes to Sig mags.

I broke down and ended up ordering 2 factory mags for $35 a piece, only because the company I bought them from has a crazy good deal on double mag pouches.  I saved at least $45 on those alone.

I've got many that run perfect. That being said i still don't trust em with my life. Mecgar gets that job.
