Looks like there are 4 versions

-SAS
-Extreme
-Nickel
-Equinox

They're available in DA/SA or DAK. Calibers include .40S&W, .357SIG and 9MM. Looks like they'll work with 226 and 229 mags

Although they look pretty cool, and I'd like to try one of them out, I have a hunch that I'll be sticking with my P239 since it's single stack and probably fits my hand better. Just a guess though.

So it's like a Glock26, but with a Sig's bulk?

Jeesh...

I would try one.

I carry a G27 would love to compare it side by side to see how this will stack up.

Ugly, but I hope it's a performer.

Only out in .40 and 357 in DAK version at this time. I will wait for the 9mm in SA/DA version.

If its the same size as my G26...then say bye bye to the Glock.

I am really waiting for the P938.

Neat little gun.  I would like to see how it compares size wise to the G26/27

Newer model P229 magazines
Dang it. I have a dozen of the "old" 228/229 mags.
I know the new 229s will use my old mags...wonder if this one will as well even though Sig says no

The info on their website says a DA/SA version is coming.  I've been intrigued since I saw the G&A TV piece on it.  Though due to the price I'm not ready to commit until I can handle & fire one in .40.

After looking at it some more, I don't know.  It's a cool little gun, but it's larger in every dimension than the G26, weighs more, and cost twice as much.  Seems like it's competing with the P2000sk more than the Glock.

I think this is a bad idea from SIG.

The market growth seems to be in subcompact, LEAN pistols.  Not fat, short pistols.

Look at Kel-Tec, Kahr.

If SIG had shortened a P225 from 7.1 inches to around 6 inches instead of shortening a P229 by .4 inches, they'd have something more marketable.
